Ram Gopal Varma drops 'Rowdilu' from tittle
Ram Gopal Varma has finally
altered the title of film
"Bezawada Rowdilu" to
"Bezawada". The filmmaker
who maintained that he
will
not interfere with title,
gave in to mounting pressure.
There were very high
expectations on Naga
Chaitanya’s
latest action
packed movie ‘Dhada,’ but
disappointing one and all it has
earned a bad talk in the day one of its release and is going to pack from the
‘A’ Centers very soon.Hence, Naga Chaitanya is now concentrating on his next movie
‘Bezawada Rowdilu’ which is now called only ‘Bezawada.’ Currently, the shooting is progressing at
Hyderabad.Earlier, its director Vivek Krishna has filmed some action scenes and a song at Bezawada, where they
have faced strong protests from the city people for its humiliating title.The unit will move to Switzerland
on September 10th and then to Italy to shoot some song sequences there and will return on September 20th.Naga
Chaitanya and Amala Paul are playing lead roles in this movie. besides, Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao,
Subhaleka Sudhakar, Ajay, Abhimanyu Singh, Ashok Kumar, Mukuldev, Satya Prakash, Rahul, Sravan, Lakshmi,
Anjana Sukhani, Prabhu are playing key roles in this movie.

This film is slated to release before Diwali Festival. After the change, Varma said, "There are many reasons
to change the title of my film "Bezawada Rowdilu" to "Bezawada". People can imagine anything, but the
main reason to change the title is known only to me." According to sources, the primary reason that drove Varma to drop the
word 'Rowdilu' was the AP Regional Censor Board chief,
who raised concerns with Varma, post receiving letters of
complaint from the public.
